The three-day countryside showcase takes place from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 July at the 250 acre site on the edge of the spa town of Harrogate.
The picturesque Crimple Valley is the perfect setting for an event that combines entertainment and fun with the opportunity to see first hand the many aspects of country life and farming.
The Main Ring is the hub of the show and within the packed programme there's everything from international show jumping to pole climbing, from marching bands to the cattle parade. In the line up for 2007, there's the spectacular Royal Signals White Helmets, displays from the Mounted Games Assocation and musical entertainment from The Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment.
Around the showground there's so much to see and do. Take a look at the hundreds of animals - from exotic poultry to the majestic Shire Horses; then there are the many demonstrations - sheep shearing, stick making, fly fishing…. to name but a few, then there's the fantastic Great Yorkshire Cheese & Dairy Show, the Fashion Show, the country pursuits area… the list goes on.
But do come and see for yourself. The Show opens at 7.30am each day and tickets cost £19 for adults, £15 for concessions, £8 for children (5 - 18) and £47 for families (2 adults and 3 children). There are discounts for tickets booked in advance.
